all i got is the %. Some of those pints equals like 3 12oz millers. so its almost the same. My issue is, i still drink the same amount of glasses regardless of the alcohol content.

Stop drinking them then? Just get a Miller or something normal. It’s not “trashy” to drink non craft beer despite what hipsters say

I drink in downtown Dallas and beers aren't $9, you're doing something wrong.
I drink in NOLA, plenty of beers all around that cost that much.
shite that paradise park that is just a bit better tasting budlight is $5.50-$7.00 depending on the bar.

hat being said restaurant prices on alcohol in general can be high as frick. I guess they don’t want people pounding.
You want people drinking. they stay longer on average and have higher checks. You want those fools drinking getting the munchies and ordering too much food.

It’s getting ridiculous
My wife and I had brunch with 2 friends last weekend. Everyone had typical breakfast dishes, omelettes, pancakes, etc. My buddy and I each had 2 Bloody Marys, and the girls had mimosas.
We split the bill 50/50...each of us owed $90, not including the tip. So ~$110 for breakfast and a few drinks

I like good beer and don’t mind paying for it.
A bunch of these baws bitching about the price of beers probably drive $40,000 trucks that get 16MPG

Lafayette has enough idiots to support that now. You should be happy for your crappy town.
I’m from nowhere close to Lafayette, but it is far from a crappy town. For its size it’s about as cool as it gets.

A friend of mine, who is a huge Astros fan, went to the last two games, which were in Dodger stadium. He said the beer cost $12 there.
It's expensive at any professional sporting event, but people pay it. If everyone could get on the same page, stop buying beer.. or don't buy as much as usual, each game (or at any location), the price will go down. But even an $8 beer.. I would love to know the profit margin on each beer. Between the price of the cup and the amount of beer you get, I bet they make at least $6 a beer.

I am being serious. I am not a big coffee drinker. I drink a small cup at home, in the morning and that's it. At most I have gone to starbucks 3 times and it was only because I was with someone who was going there.. How much does an average coffee cost there?
Posted on 6/1/18 at 1:10 pm to p&g
You must be going to nicer places than me. The average price I see is $4-5 for craft and $2-3 for regular domestic. $1 for tall boys. Of course, the fact that bars I frequent serve tall boys might be a sign that these aren't very upscale places.

I brew my own coffee and may go to SB once a month on the weekend.
I think it’s $2.09 for a small cup. And I do love their dark roast coffee. Beats the hell out of PJ’s, Community, or gas station crap

Who the hell is pounding $10 crafts anyway? Double IPA is everywhere these days and those generally have way higher alcohol % - usually 8% or higher. A regular ipa is 6%, even Abitas Hop On hits that. 3 of those = 5 millers, so it all evens out but tastes a billion times better.
