Those were my formative years and I have never once heard that.

The worst people in this area are the ones that use the "I'm just fricking with you" excuse as just cover for saying any hurtful thing that pops in their head.

It’s not necessary between close friends but i understand it if you joke with an acquaintance who isn’t close to you and they appear to take it wrong because they don’t know you well enough to know you’re joking.

But you shouldn’t frick with people you don’t know really well, that’s how you end up with a black eye if it’s the wrong person.

But I do think a lot of people speak without thinking and realize they just were an a-hole so this is the quick follow up to save face

I had a guy fill my hard had with water and put it in the freezer all day so when I showed up to work I had a solid block of ice in my hard hat, and it was funny af

So no, I do not get annoyed. Practical jokes are what keeps the world sane

“All comments are satire, irony, humor, or even mere speculation and in no way are meant to be taken seriously or represent any form of generally accepted reality. So go frick yourself if you can’t take a joke.”

I just hand that out before conversating…
