I'm having a shitastic day -- and I want to share

I live in a town home that shares one wall with a neighbor.
Ordered a new TV that came in at lunch, so I left work to go meet the UPS guy and set it up. I'm in a fricking outstanding mood because of this. Midway through setting it up I hear shrieking from her place (and its a thick wall) and it sounds like she's being attacked or something. I'm talking bloody murder.
I immediately grab a hammer that was next to me and sprint over there (I own a shotgun but not a handgun fyi). Her female beagle-mix dog chewed through the water line behind her 3rd floor toilet and flooded her entire place...including drowning her own liter of 15 day old puppies that were in the bathroom. I had to help her pick up the bodies and put them in a box. She is basically catatonic.
And its National Puppy Day.
Her house is completely fricked. All 3 floors have ceiling and wall damage. Then I go back to my house and check the basement and it has an inch of water. ServePro is currently sucking my place dry...while I watch my new TV.
What a buzz kill.

Damn, man. Even though I'm a cynical bastard, that was big of you to help her with dogs. Nicely done.

Sounds more like your neighbor had a shitastic day, and you just experienced what is called "life".
Also, that does suck....

The fact that you added that made me laugh. Not at your situation though, water leaks are such a pain in the arse.
