Here's a quick story from my drive yesterday.
You know those cable fencing that a lot of states have been installing in the medians (or nuetral grounds) of interstates that are to prevent head on collisions?
Well, I came upon a wreck where an 18 wheeler crashed into the cables, tore them all up, but it kept him from crossing into oncoming traffic.
Definitely saved an innocent life or two, IMO.

I took a 12 hour trip when I lived in BR. It was from Rayne to BR. I thought I could slide through before the daily 18 wheeler wreck but missed it by a few.
