I was on a job last week. I ate at the Waffle House every morning while I was there. Kinda surreal being the only customer in there first thing in the morning. All the employees were concerned over their jobs. Made sure to tip big and to tell them thanks.

To a little hole in the wall place here
Going to start with Tuna-Caviar, couple frickin layers of thinly pounded yellowfin tuna; osetra caviar, fresh black pepper and lemon crème fraîche.
Then roasted rack of lamb; truffled orecchiette “Merguez Bolognese,” and goddamn harissa-lemon confit emulsion. Let's also go with a Pinot Noir.
Then finish it off with Truffle Vacherin..hazelnut black truffle Riz Au Lait, and legit Tahitian vanilla ice cream.

I’m going to eat a burger and sit on a patio and drink pints of beer until I can’t walk. That’s all I want right now. I know I could do it at home but i want to do it somewhere else.
