I agree. Don't get me wrong, she had a choice too...but my point is why the hell do these couples not discuss these matters right away? I know for me that I want to be a mom in my 30s and I wouldn't be in a long term relationship with marriage prospects with someone who didn't want kids too.

That is the one thing I can say me and my soon to be fiance do well. We are open about almost everything. I really feel like that should be the foundation of every relationship for it to be successful.

I am not gay

My advice would be to really investigate this possibility.

And you can do so by taking my handy little Quiz:

Question 1: If you went camping with a buddy and he raped you, would you tell anyone?

Question 2: If you answered No to question 1, would you like to go camping?

Part of that has to do with me though. I don't put up with as much crap as I did then and I'm far more rigid. Now I have no patience for being around women that annoy me. The women that I do have in my life are awesome but it's not many of them that's for sure.

Well that's the part of my post that was missing. I wasn't just saying it's harder to get girls, I was saying it's much harder to find women who meet your standards (education, career-wise, etc), who are at your level of maturity, and who want what you want. Frankly, Women under 25-26 don't really do it for me in anything other than a physical way.

And at 22, you've probably done the same thing every weekend for 52 weeks. By 32, you do the math. shite gets old.

I don't think these guys realize that many of these young, hot 24 year olds who are just starting their careers and not wanting kids just yet will soon turn into 29 year olds who want babies ASAP.

That's when you trade them in

Because you don't know what it's like to start dating again in your 30s after a long relationship

So you were just trying to call yourself good looking. I don't believe it by the way

I am sure your feelings probably reflects what she is feeling right now for her to stick around this long. I can honestly see the OP being the manipulative type to make a girl think she can do no better.

It's sad though that people do that kind of thing. I guess I was just raised differently.

At that point the only attractive women that are left are the workaholics who are too busy to settle down or the crazies.
