bullshite. We spend waaaaaay too much on education. We certainly spend magnitudes more than we did 50 years ago adjusted for inflation.

but both religions were referring to the same entity is my point, the Jews just didnt believe Jesus was the son of God, which is why the entire Torah makes up half of the bible

For aguments sake, I'm fine with agreeing with you that the Jews believe in the Father. But Christians believe that is only one of the three divine persons who make up God. In my mind that would essentially mean Jews only believe partly in the Christian God.

Debating religion is a fools errand. However, it doesnt make it any less fun when you are bored at work
lol

They steal should, people seem to only get the picture with either violence or money.

I think I have the reason, lol. Schools are nothing more than a reflection of the communities they serve. Good community and you have good schools and the same applies for bad schools. Very simple answer. Some people expect schools to do the work of a community. That’s total nonsense. You need an involved community that carries the school. Everything you mentioned as education/school problems are symptoms of what goes wrong in a community.

they do not to be indoctrinated in schools.
One can be indoctrinated in the myth of secular pluralism as much as they can Catholicism or Wokism. But it's all a form of indoctrination.
We simply need to detach the negative connotation from that word.
Indoctrination is a fact of life.
People just get upset when the indoctrination that is happening goes against the indoctrination that they would prefer happen.

This isn't going to make kids 'smarter'. There is a separation of church and state for a reason. If you want your kids to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic send them to school. If you want them to learn about religion send them to church. Its pretty simple.

because of No Child Left Behind, and it’s implementation by the Department of Education.

I taught for 22 years in Baton Rouge inner city schools.
Lots of good points but I have been saying for the past few years Public Schools have to go. It's like a horse with a broken leg , you have to put it down.
Public schools have had their time and it is past time that they should all be abolished.
The taxpayer is being abused.
The teachers are being abused.
And many of the students are getting a poor education, if any.
All schools should be private.
If a family wants their children to attend a private school they will find a way to make it happen.

Are you saying Muslims and Jews also believe in this god made up of 3 divine persons?
No, I’m saying they believe in the one monotheistic God. The Catholic Church has taught for 2,000 years that there is only one God although He is made up of 3 persons.
Although Judaism and Islam might not agree on the three persons part, they do agree that there is one monotheistic God and not three gods.

I'm convinced education's steep decline began and continues today for 3 main reasons!
Even the most conservative areas now get it wrong. They totally miss it.
Education, in its truest sense, should be quite detached from career readiness and much more closely aligned with determing what is good and pursuing the good life.

As a follow up, this is education. These are the things that we can't think about enough:

I see it as one reason. These children will one day be voting age and consumers of main stream media. They want them as dumb as possible. It's the long game, but it will work for them bc these children will not become smarter as they age. A dumb 18 year old will be just as dumb as 40-50
