It mentions another French Bulldog being in the house. There is absolutely no way that the dog in the picture could have managed to kill her. Unless she had taken 20 bars and 30 somas and was incapacitated allowing the dog to chew on her all day and night. Even then....

"Generally a French Bulldog is about 11 to 12 inches tall. Males weigh 20 to 28 pounds, females 16 to 24 pounds"

This one must have snuck up on her and grabbed her neck! I am certain I could kick that fricker thru a wall. JS

If a grown human being gets killed by a dog less than 20 pounds, you deserve your death and to have your body feasted by roadkill.

Mauled by a French Bulldog? My arse hurts.

About the only thing a French Bulldog could maul is a tray of lasagna. Those have got to be the least melee combat capable breed ever.

I have two and they are the most loving dogs I have ever owned . Hard to imagine one being a fighter and killer . They are all muscle though

That lady OD'd or died of a heart attack, and that dog chewed on her after she died.

Something people are missing in this

Bulldogs are distantly related to bulldogs.
But she had 3 dogs. 2 bulldogs and a collie.
The collie wasn't involved in the attack.

So if it's "bad owners", was she a better owner to the collie, or are there differences between breeds?

Pit bull is the common name for a type of dog descended from bulldogs and terriers.

quote:

Urso, who weighed about 120 pounds, was found with "a very large percentage of her body" covered in injuries. Most of her clothing had been shredded off, he notes.

Urso had two French bulldogs and one border collie mix. Cooper said both of Urso's French bulldogs were found with blood on them, but it's unclear whether one or both dogs attacked Urso.
