So he has done all of this to this girl and her family. Did that not come into play in determining if he should be paroled? Also, it's not the first person he's done it to:

So he was already in prison for attached an ex previously. Then:

He went back because he was contacting her repeatedly despite not being allowed to do so. Even going to her house. But:

The board determined there wasn't enough evidence to verify Smith's claims, although she was not called to testify.

So they made up some bullshite about him working at Red Lobster? And they didn't even call the victim of the harassment to testify? That seems fair.

Now this poor kid is dead because he was trying to fend off a grown arse man who was stabbing his mother. And the state is almost as culpable as the attacker. They completely and repeatedly failed that lady and her family.

Just last year, LeAnn Miller was one target of a liberal Sun Times hit piece about how she voted to deny parole for these honorable and reformed black men over 70% of the time.

I guess she caved to leftist pressure. As always, that came back to haunt her.

ETA - Tupuy, who you guys posted pics of above was also targeted in the piece. He, Miller, and Jared Bohland were singled out as the Republicans who kept denying parole, even though there's a Democrat near the top also. This graph was mockingly labeled Republican Members Higher Denial Rates
