Wife’s parents will be here starting tonight for a week, her brother and his family fly in Saturday, my mom is coming Monday. All staying at my house.
Me right now.

Me right now.

Start drinking, heavily, now

Don’t you have a guest house for her parents, allowing your parents the entire east wing of your house? Judging by your posts in the past I can only assume the square footage would allow for it.
Have your butlers fetch them when you are ready for dinner or present swapping

I would find a SHITLOAD of errands to do, and then go watch bowl games (live or recorded) at a friend's house.

I'm feeling good. The menu is set, the groceries are bought, and the company doesn't stay long

There is an apartment above my garage that I’ll put the bro in law and family in. Her parents in the guest room and my mom in my daughters room.

Another reason to downsize

Did Thanksgiving at our place. I'm glad we aren't having Christmas here.

Wouldn’t be so bad if they weren’t getting here days in advance. The good thing is they’ll all be gone Wednesday morning.

See this is exactly why I’m an a-hole. I get holidays with no in-laws.

Christmas Vacation had such an impact on me when I was young that I married a Jew.

Prayers to sweet baby Jesus for your sanity and overall mental health

I’m going to try and play golf with the bro in law, weather permitting. That’ll give me a break for a little bit

$400 in groceries last night had me wanting to call the whole thing off.

Making a grocery run this afternoon. Not looking forward to it. Then I’ll swing by the liquor store

All of my in town family coming to the house Saturday to eat etoufee and exchange gifts, all out by 9pm.
Sunday off to the in-laws for 4 days. Of course I'm more comfortable in my house, but they live on a beautiful piece of land with a 10 acre stocked pond. Biggest downside is the 1950's bed we have to sleep in, but I don't have to cook or clean a damn thing when its all over.

You can't bring an air mattress? They are on-sale everywhere right now if you don't already have one
