Cut off all support to the boy and take in the kid and mom.

Drop him and take care of my grandchild.

Just because they’re related to you doesn’t mean you have to keep them in your lives.

What do you think the majority of people would do?

Don’t think I could completely cut him off but it would be under the exception that he seeks out whatever helps he needs. Definitely would take in the mom and baby though.

It’s shocking you use sugar daddy sites.

Probably the problem to begin with supporting adult children. My brother (27) is still spoiled and that's his problem.

Why did he? Drugs, another women, maybe he’s just lost. Any event grandson comes first. Maybe it’s better for the grandson.

1. Take care of the child first.
2. I find it hard to believe that your son "turned" into a jackass. I'm betting that he has been a jackass for some time and you tolerated it.

Not my son, my wife’s father. We have been married 8 years, and I have never met him. Wife hasn’t seen him in twenty years. His parents, my wife’s grandparents, never had anything to do with her growing up either. It is sad. I think they feel bad now about not being around and are too ashamed to have a relationship

I don’t fully understand the situation. Or the question.

At that point it's too late, you already failed at parenting once. Best off to help your daughter in law find a real man to raise your grandkids.

I'd ask him why he has any kids at all...he's only 9 for God's sake.

This is tough. If OP made his son a piece of shite, it's hard to believe he'd be a good influence on the grandkid.

You dropped the ball already, man.

Raise your kids and spoil your grandkids.
Spoil your kids and raise your grandkids.

It’s your choice.
