We are talking mid 90s for me. I'd tell younger me to start buying Amazon stock in 1997.

This is a good plan.

Amazon went public on May 15, 1997, and the IPO price was $18.00, or $1.50 adjusted for the stocks splits that occurred on June 2, 1998 (2-for-1 split), January 5, 1999 (3-for-1 split), and September 1, 1999 (2-for-1 split). Amazon fiscal year is based on the calendar year.

But I would still want a plan to raise 100k -200k during my high school years, to maximize my investments.

$1.50 per shared adjusted and $1168 today. 7k in 1997 would be 5.5 million today.

Come on man. You got warped into your former self, and this is all you can come up with after 20 years?

I was just thinking about my $4.25 minimum wage job at the time

Yeah my freshman year was 2005 (Katrina year). I’d be telling a bunch of people to move their valuable possessions.

I’d probably focus more on expanding my undergrad options. Definitely would invest in the big games (NCG and Superbowls) stuff like that. Even if it wasn’t until i was 18.

$4.25 was my pay for my first job too.

I don't think i would work at Delchamps again in this situation though.

Im pretty sure i could make 60k-80k per year opening a couple of mall kiosks, if I could get my mom to sign the lease.

I guess i would need to work at Delchamps for a little while to come up with the 1st months rent, deposit, and inventory.

I was a stock boy/cart retriever at Winn Dixie. They made us wear button up white shirts and ties back then too

ETA - probably cost me 2 weeks pay to buy the damn shirts and ties

I will take computer programming for a billion.
It would be easy to defeat Microsoft DOS 1.0 in the crib with a user interface and thus to capture the ibm pc market.
Commands used to have consecutive commas to act as placeholders for parameters you didnt use.
I spit.
I make a billion.
2. I was so excited to buy a
9th grade 1956. Sputnik.

One thing different. I was acccepted to Columbia irl. Didnt go. Didnt want school debt. in our redo i scoff at school debt.
Non-money variables
Spanish instead of latin.
Engineering instead of 60 hours of languages.

1990, Get all my friends hooked on cocaine . Deal throughout school years I could raise half million easy. I would invest in Apple.

Who am I kidding I would probably keep the coke to myself and be a worthless addict like the first go around.

Where are you going to raise minimum $100,000 as a freshman in High school.

In high school I’d work every job I could and do whatever it took to get more scholarship money. I’d max out my student loans and pour all that money in to Amazon. In the mean time, my scholarships would be paying for college and I would be working to build up my capital to borrow even more money to sink in to amazon. Once it took off, I’d pay my loans off and re-invest in bitcoin.

Really think the only way to make quick money is with betting...but I wouldn't remember much of who won what. I'd remember the jets and Namath, and the Cassius Clay fights, guess i'd bet all I had on those... then watch the papers every morning waiting on microsoft to appear in the NYSE. Only way i would make serious money is to have a warning and be able to bring old money and almanacs/notes.

I would have spent every penny on Shelby Mustangs, Ferraris, etc but then I would have to wait over 30 years to reap in the real dough from my investment!
