Not sure why that matters?
Cause people want to ban straws here and they keep throwing out this plastic in the oceans issue as one of the big reasons for doing so?
Don't you think it makes sense to get an idea of what the impact will be to do so?
I have a theory here about plastic straws that I might float in another thread. Be on the lookout.

Well, I’m certain someone did that research, I however, have not. And I’m sure who did that didn’t think of the problem per country but globally as we all will suffer if the problem continues.

Why? Shouldn't it be easy to find, if so?

Look over to the right of this tap on your internet browser, press it then Google your little heart out.

No idea. I met her after college. I know she now plays volleyball at Mangos.

I'm not the one proposing to ban something or proposing it's somehow a grand idea to do so, though. Not my onus.

I was never a fan of sucking on things anyway.

I'll always request a straw for drinks at restaurants. I also stir my coffee with multiple straws.

Straws are pointless to begin with.

If you're the kind of person who literally can't go without a straw for some weird reason, then by all means request one. But why do people get all bothered over someone else trying to do a little good and not using one?
I dont want to slobber on a drink someone else had their mouth on.

Im at a restaurant eating lunch and they are no longer offering straws unless requested.
In other words, Im going to make you feel bad if you ask for a straw. You the paying customer are disgusting, vile, piece of shite.
ding, ding, ding
Here is your food.
You should find a restaurant more catering to your liking.

But you're still drinking the same drink as them. Or Don't drink after other people?

The US was using almost 500 million straws per day.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is a bogus stat. If every man, woman, and child used one straw per day it would be about 300 million. You don't use one when you make a meal at home, which is most meals. I can't see that there are very many people using 2 or more per day.
