Yep. I would have just flown the frick off and handed in my resignation.

There's a reason those pilots/companies cost an arm and a leg. One of them is that they are supposed to have pilots who don't let stuff like that happen.

Looks like it may have been the rigging that failed.

That's going to be on the rigger. The pilot can't fly the chopper AND rig the load.
