Easy solution for you and the loud neighbor - you mow his yard for him when he needs it done, at your time of day.

Even bigger assholes do it on Saturday mornings at 6am.

I don't even hear lawnmowers when I sleep. When I was a kid, my daddy and other neighbors used to be out there at 6-6:30AM mowing and I think I gained a resistance to it.

In general, when it comes to lawn mowers and blowers I will here them, but it doesn't bother me like it does a lot of people.

How close are you living to people if its disturbing you?

You should sleep with ear plugs in if you're that dang sensitive to outside noise

I don't hear it when I'm sleeping. We have plenty of white noise going.

I hear it when I get up in the morning. Faintly.

I am a working person, and I'm starting my day. I don't want to hear a mower crank up at 6 AM. Simple as that.

No, the world revolves around social norms.

One of them is to wait until 8 AM to cut your grass.

I dont use an alarm clock, but when I hear the birds start chirping and the sun starting to come through my shades...I know its time to get up.

Some people's office is on a lawnmower...people make a living different ways.....not everyone works behind a desk

It doesn't make you an a-hole, but it does make you dumb.

The grass is too damp in the morning to get a good mow.

But complaining about this makes you seem really annoying.

lol. If it bothers you so much then go talk with your neighbor. I’m sure he will totally understand that he should cut his grass on your pre-determined schedule bc the “faint” noise it makes is not pleasant to your ears.

My old golfing partner got home about 6:00am one Sumday morning from an all night adventure. He told me he sat on the side of the bed to take off his shoes and his wife work up and said,"Are you just getting home?"

He said he was just getting up to get dressed because it was going to be a very hot day and he wanted to avoid the humidity while cutting the grass.

He said he knew his neighbors hated him as a result.
