Already there. Lots of places that I love visiting, but nowhere I can think of that is rather live at this time in my life.
If forced to choose someplace different then maybe Seattle or London.

Just expressing my preference. The white heterosexual male shaming/ narrative is getting old and a little much for me.
I'll be the first to admit I like and want to live by people that look like me and mine. This multiculturalism, everyone should live together, is for the birds and you can keep it.
I'm fortunate though. I retire in 2 years at 55 and have a 15 acres with a nice size house in Folsom where I can pretty much stay away from others I choose not to want to interact with.

Korea's cheaper than Japan and the people are friendlier. I get why most people would put Japan above SK, but the truth is that the Japanese, while not overtly mean or anything, just come off as more aloof and less gregarious than Koreans IMHO.
