School Zone

Why does the West Causeway Approach have the longest school zone in North America?

They control it tight, too.

Sorry, OP, I had to get my rant in, too.

Your 4 barrel carburetor at 80+ MPH is sucking in more oxygen than what I’m breathing.
Piss off.

The amount of people driving 15-20 mph below the speed limit has reached epidemic levels. All you can do is tailgate, honk your horn and flip them the bird when they finally pullover befuddled and confused, totally unaware of anything happening around them.

Boomers are the fricking worst.

If someone driving a few under the speed limit causes you to be late, maybe you should be responsible and give yourself more time to get wherever you’re going.

Not even 10 am yet and the criminals are already encouraging breaking the law.

Can you not disturb the productive decent law abiding folks who work for a living?

Thanks.

being a speed demon has nothing to do with punctuality,
some of us just drive like Steve McQueen...

Let me guess...

You’re one of the idiots on Airline Highway that insists on driving 65 even though everyone else is moving along nicely bumper to bumper at 55, only to find that the lights still turn red for you too. Every damn day.

Get out of bed 10 minutes earlier and enjoy the drive.

Completely adjust your schedule to accommodate the needs of someone unwilling to follow the rules of the road.

Pretty simple answer, that road has 4 schools within that 1.5 mile stretch.
