If you don't stand outside and look at your lawn after you cut it, does it even count?

Only of its 100 degrees outside and you used a push mower. You still have to come outside and look at it later, though.

One of the best beers a man can have is while appreciating his fresh cut lawn.

Nothing better than knowing you just busted arse to make it look nice and the feeling of it being done and not having to cut the grass for about 5 minutes.

That’s my Wednesday ritual after I get home from work, the lawn crew is nowhere in sight, but the lawn looks pristine.

I always appreciate a good beer (or stiff drink) while admiring their work.

I took over yard cutting duties from my Dad when I was 10. Push mowed every yard I cut til last year. Turned 50 and said frick this. 40 years of push mowing yards in 100 degree heat is enough. Bought me riding mower and haven’t been happier. Still have the best lawn in my neighborhood. I take great pride in that shite and don’t think a riding mower takes away from that in the least.

Self propelled push mowers shouldn't count either.
