good lord stop with the tribalism crap. Each district has an entire team that oversees giving away tens of millions of dollars a year. They go out of their way to avoid anything political. I used to date a chick that was on the team for central texas.

Literally one person didn't do their homework on one event.

Would you preferred I said approximately one person?

No. Just say “one person” if you know it’s one.

The HEB family is amazing and never wears faith on their sleeves. Remarkably generous, non-political family. DWI

Tacos with whatever meat ya got. Or beans. Go shoot a feral cat - they aren't bad with enough chili powder.

But Baton Rouge & NOLA have the Rouses.

It's gumbo weather for a day or so, and I supposed I need to go out and get me some tomatoes and potatoes for the roast beef gumbo.

If DFW had more H-E-Bs instead of Kroger or Giant brand shite (Tom Thumb, etc.), H-E-B would bulldoze all of them, including Publix, but most of DFW isn't really aware. Kroger owns:

Baker’s
City Market
Dillons
Food 4 Less
Foods Co
Fred Meyer
Fry’s
Gerbes
Jay C Food Store
King Soopers
Kroger
Mariano’s
Metro Market
Pay-Less Super Markets
Pick’n Save
QFC
Ralphs
Ruler
Smith’s Food and Drug

And they're shite.

W/D was shite before I ever left LA 20 years ago. I thought Super Wal-Mart was the best, and then H-E-B... It's over. Just lay back and take it We don't need 10/1 loaves of shitty bread to justify paying 40% more for everything else.
