Great public transportation, educated population, a pretty good theater venue, a ton of history, and it does have good restaurants.

Can't believe no one has agreed with my original suggestion of Minneapolis. I get it's cold but the place is awesome. Anyone ever been there?

New Orleans. I am lucky enough to live where I want to live. Tons to do, great culture (love the food, music and architecture), traffic isn't bad. Warm. Cost of living is decent. Close enough to drive to see family. Close enough to the beach. It has its cons: crime rate is too high, it gets too hot in the summer, and the roads suck, but I honestly don't know of a place I would rather live.

If it weren't for friends and family I would consider San Diego. Right there on the water and the weather there is ridiculously nice. Great size city with plenty to do.

I really like Chicago, but the weather in the winter would be a deal breaker.

Yeah I like Minneapolis as well. Not sure that I'd live there but it's an underrated city.

Um you CAN live anywhere in the U.S.; therefore, I live where I want to. Crazy notion.

I liked Colorado Springs better than Denver. Probably in the minority though.

Much cleaner, right next to the Front Range.

If i could afford it, San Diego. Perfect weather, beautiful beaches, nearby mountains, great food, and it's actually run by conservatives. It's like f&$king paradise. Unfortunately, you must have this much gross net worth in order to enjoy it
