I just wanted to party at first. Forestry was fricking awesome though. If it paid decent money, I would pick that again

Majored in finance and chose to get a CFA instead of CPA. I always wonder what path I would've taken as a CPA.

I felt bad about switching to computer science when I couldn't hack it in mechanical engineering but it worked out pretty well. I work remote making what most people would consider a good living. I go where I want when I want. All I need is a decent internet connection and I have an office

I'd probably give med school a go. Hard to complain with where I'm at though.

Yes. Mechanical Engineering then Law School to become a patent lawyer.

Glad there are folks like you out there. I do patent work on the client side and I'd rather do pretty much anything than IP law.

If they work in EE or physics IP they do.

I would have changed to piloting if it were going back to college. If was a trade, I probably go for welding. Practiced some of that in school and at home since my dad had one at our farm. My dad is an electrician and I had been going with him on jobs since I was 8, so that would be an easier route being exposed to it early and often.

I'd seriously consider dental school.

Low stress. Work with your hands all day. Great compensation. Minimal liability. Great hours. No call...

Hmmm, wonder if all my pre-reqs would still count???

I honestly feel bad for my children. One is a sophomore, the other a senior, and neither have a driving passion about anything in particular. I guess I was blessed in that I knew from the time I was 6, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. My challenge was trying to figure out how to get there.

I am glad I stuck it out and got my ee degree. I don't use it today but I feel with out it I wouldn't be where I am today.

I wouldn't do anything different if I had to again except go to grad school sooner.

I majored in political science because I was young(er) and dumb, and not a single day has gone by lately that I don't think about how I wish I could go back and major in computer science.

I'm getting a useful Master's in a quantitative field now so I'm finally getting on the right track, but there were way too many wasted years between 18 and now.

Maybe PT back when it was just an undergrad degree.

But my degrees are finally starting to work out, so I'm content with my path for now.

In a heart beat. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but I make less than teachers do, work overnights and holidays, and only get 13 days of vacation every year (I'll get an extra week after I've been here 5 years). I would've chosen something like accounting where I could work normal hours and make a descent living.

Maybe geology. Summer camp in Colorado would have been cool.

It was over in the RNR Building. I took a wetland plant ecology/biology and about half the class was RNR kids. I'll tell you what, RNR kids have more fun.

I wish I did something that only required 4 years of college. Law school is wearing down on me, only 3 more weeks left of 1L year.
