Not spending 7 years in college. I would instead go to 2 year tech college and have the job I have now at 20 years old.

This, unfortunately, is a lesson learned over time and through negative experience.

I could have made the money I make now sooner if I didn’t frick off in my early and mid-20s.

save all that money you wasted on hookers and blow and invest it wisely and dont frick around with those menial BS jobs so you got more time to party

Listen to my dad when he was trying to teach me about life. The man has been right about every damn thing he has ever said.

Getting married at 21. Noone should get married or have children until they are 30+.

Started my 401k sooner. Got into the oilfield at 19 and farted around until I was 25 to start it.

Would not have left my copy of Leaves of Grass on the back of the toilet.

I went to LSU for 7 years. I don't even use my first degree so I definitely could have shaved a few years off if I'd have picked my 2nd major the first time.
I had a lot of fun during those 7 years though so frick it

I would have joined the military and served my country... but noooo. I was a frick up wanting to get high and chase girls.
And as stated before. I would have listened to my grandparents and asked them questions instead of being a spoiled complaining brat taking them for granted.

Not being sexually abused and having an alcoholic father.

i would want to see how one thing would have turned out differently if at all. this day 4 years ago my 7th child, 3rd son, was born with complications called fetal hydrops. the whole pregnancy was pretty difficult actually. we went to Texas children to have a procedure done halfway through the pregnancy and came back home. my wife was able to carry through just about full term but complications started to arise again so we planned to induce. instead of going back to Texas children where they had more experience with fetal hydrops we choose to deliver at women's on airline. the reason was, we talked with several specialist in the area and they pretty much convinced us it was something they could handle and it would be ok. they couldn't and it wasn't. that's the biggest regret today in my life is not going back to the specialist who saw us earlier in the pregnancy and did the first procedure! today and the rest of this week is hard because I'm stuck in the bottom of Texas trying to work to make enough money from getting bumped around my job while my wife is at home going through this alone!
probably more in depth than what you were expecting but i needed to get that off my chest today! thanks!

Nothing. If I had gone down a different path, I might be dead now.

100% this. Although I wouldn't know what I know now so I guess it worked out.
