Calling it a currency is wrong.
It's a digital commodity.
You can't buy anything at Best Buy with gold or silver, but that doesn't mean the gold or silver isn't worth anything.
I'm no expert and I'm not some bitcoin maximalist, but to think there isn't a future for blockchain technologies is just asinine.

Let's just remind folks, the average joe still can't go buy Bitcoin, mine for it or knew how to even set up a wallet to receive it back in 2010. This isn't some everyday missed opportunity.
