Aren't clippings good fertilizer? I use a reel for a small patio patch of grass and leave the clippings. They're basically gone in a day or two.

ETA:

I'll do it at night sometimes in the Summer. Super easy for a flat area if you keep the blades sharp. Much less of a hassle than a gas mower for my tiny townhome lot.

I don't care what mower you guys use, just use an edger if you have close neighbors. Don't be the guy with the unedged yard.

I make the OL cut the lawn. I run the f'in show, maybe the OL will let you have ur balls one day.
