Would a rich man be wise to buy that many tickets? Cash payout is over 900 million. If it's $2 a ticket, you would still win 300 million bring home

$2 per ticket

Likelihood of multiple winners

And then 35% cut to Uncle Sam

Are you not going to let anyone else buy tickets?

If one other person had the number, you would still come out 150 million ahead

How do you propose a single person logistically fills out and buys 302 million ticket combinations? You can't just tell the guy to give you one of each.

you have a few days to fill out 302 million combinations and have to purchase them at $2/ticket.

several years ago when they had a weekly lottery for $1/ticket a group made a run on all the numbers. They didn't get them all, but ended up getting the numbers! They had to organize all the numbers after they bought them. They also had to split up and purchase them from several different locations for several days straight in order to make sure that they had enough labor printing out their numbers!

I need to see if I can find the story, but I think it was on an 80s show called "That's Incredible."

I wonder how long it would take Betty Lou down at the Jiffy Quick to print 300 Million Tickets?

And you’ll need to spend a few days liquidating accounts trying to put together $604 million in cash.

Your local Chase bank will be just a tad short.

Can you imagine the outrage if someone who was already a billionaire won? What a melt that would be.

You gotta pay taxes on the $900mil

Also, it's impossible logistically so there's that too.

I don't know but it would only take her about 5 seconds to tell you to get fricked and she's not doing it.

I see the potential of splitting the jackpot hurting..on the other hand you'd have winners with 4 + 1, 5 + 0, etc. probably make a good deal of money there

Someone did a study on this. There apparently wouldn’t be enough time to print out all those tickets in the space between drawings. Not to mention, you might have to share the winnings with someone else if they also won.
