“I’m gonna be nice and offer to order food for someone , only on the condition they order exactly what I want them to!”-some of the morons in this thread

Did someone just have you order a number #1 with an extra side? I see now how much that upsets some of y’all lmao

If I want something, I will get it. If someone offers to get something for me, which I would never expect from someone, should I then just not get what I want? Wow, hell of a favor!

The melt continues, no but OP has a very valid point, if someone offers to grab you a bite don't order like a 5 year old, you just seem butthurt.

First time ordering for the wife, eh?

Learn the lesson and have her order her own shite next time.

better yet, if the OP is ordering for multiple people (including women) let them know what the ladies are ordering ahead of time and that its non-negotiable. they can get their special sauce with extra soy vegan impossible meat on their own time.

but the OP deserves criticism for agreeing to place an order for 1] women who are picky 2] twats like the poster pooturd who want a customized white gloves order from the office douchebag food ordering guy

Now that I’m thinking about it, my grandparents used to go to dominoes and actually request frozen pizzas to take home and cook. I guess not a complicated order, but pretty bizarre. They say it worked too

I concede that the example he gave about getting a number such and such, but substitute the sauce from something else, with a different side, etc, is pretty ridiculous. But where is the line drawn?

At the end of the of the day though, if I offered to order somebody food, I’d order what the what. Now buying someone dinner and them ordering something twice as expensive as they’d typically get, that would piss me off

I understand the sentiment but I have far more patience than I used to have. I see no reason to get someone a hamburger with mayo on it if they don't like mayo. If the order gets complicated I just have someone else call it in or text me the entire order if I am going in to order it.

I admit, I’ve been known to substitute an extra toast rather than coleslaw from Canes. I am deeply sorry to everyone I’ve hurt

That's not really the same thing. Plus you're ordering on your own.

If someone is picking me up food I'll just pick something I'll eat that's simple

It's just common courtesy. It's not my last meal on earth, something less than my absolute #1 preference is fine.

This is honestly the kind of thing I thought OP was bitching about at first. I really don’t even know anyone who orders anything too crazy beyond that. Idk, maybe I’m lucky lol

Maybe I’m just simple folk but I just order what the menu has. I hate when people over complicate shite with substitutions.

Once I get done explaining my wife’s 7 step order, I’m so flustered I just say “uhhhh, another one just like that.”

Hey I'm going to get burgers for all 12 of us. OK, I'll take one pickle, no mustard, an extra slice of cheese and no ice in my drink

If it were only that easy - we went to eat Mexican food one night as a family - my kids, husband, and I ordered faster than my BIL. Everything had to be put ‘on the side’ enchilada sauce on the side, taco on the side, green onions on the side, sour cream and guacamole (that was supposed to go on the taco) - on the side

He had more plates than we did!!!

The worst thing ever is ordering a whopper with no meat.

I don't think I have ever gone out to eat with my wife that she doesn't request a change from the menu. I almost never change anything, except no rice in my gumbo.

I took this as you're at a restaurant and some douche orders for everyone at the table. No that type of stuff has never happened to me.
