September 15th they switch from the summer blend to the winter mix. Prices will drop a good bit when they do.

I don't think I've ever seen 85 gas. Lowest I've seen is 87.

First off, sams is 2.89

Secondly, you do realize the cheap brand at rouses is the exact same as the most expensive brand. Same exact thing. Same cow even.

I had not clue there was even a "cheap brand" of milk ... I thought it was all priced the same ...

I hate the stuff ... Buy it for my kid

I hear O+G people hemming and hawing about low prices and I get it, their livelyhood comes from oil. I may be an idiot here but could someone seriously explain to me why I should want higher gas prices?

In my thoughts, cheaper gas means cost of other goods are cheaper which means not just consumers but everyone has more money to spend creating other jobs etc. Please help

Yeah look next time. Cheap (barbes or similar) will be like 3 something. Then browns dairy brand will be 6 something. Exact same cow.

I've never seen a drop in the price of lipstick based on oil

But I've seen my bonus get prorated because we weren't able to meet targets with low oil prices. And I've seen lots of my coworkers get laid off

So aside from people losing jobs, which it is bad, are there any other reasons I should want a barrel of oil to cost 75+ USD?

I've never heard anyone who doesn't work in oil and gas happy about high oil prices, so I couldn't tell you

I'm pretty sure the "summer blend" of fuel is more expensive than the "winter blend." Fuel is about to fall quick once it starts to get cool and gas stations start selling the winter blend.
