The struggle is real.
We lefties have to deal daily with oppressive scissors, can openers, zippers, truck cupholders, chairs, keyboards, cellphone designs that are for the oppressive righties. Every time I'm handed something to sign, I sigh, look disgusted, turn the form to the left and ask for a pen. Dinner seating is strategic necessity.

This is me.
When getting coached my first baseball season, coach lined everybody up as righties assuming everybody was right handed. Which led to playing golf right handed as well. I still blame that guy for my life long slice off the teebox.

My youngest is left handed. The only real thing she has trouble with is a computer mouse.
Her handwriting is fine. I taught her the proper way to make the letters but we figured out an easier way for her to make them. When I read her stuff, it looks like her older brothers’ handwriting
they’re all right handed

Both my son and daughter are left handed. Didn’t impact my son one way or other in football or soccer at all. Was benefit in basketball. He was an undersized but fast as hell point guard that could go left and equally as well to the right. I think it helped him defensively as well. He didn’t play baseball.
Daughter only played basketball and played the 4 primarily. Not sure being a lefty impacted her game much.
Actually made teaching them golf easier since I’m a righty. We could face each other and they could mirror my stance, grip and swing.
Don’t think it made any difference one way or other teaching them how to shoot. Son and I routinely practice shooting pistols with off hand as well as dominant hand.

Billjaminaxxon is a lefty. I’ve been holding interviews from local travel ball coaches.
ETA have fun buying shitty left handed scissors.

I would love to hang you, preferably by piano wire if you make your kid switch.
His hand writing will be crap, he will throw like a girl because it's not a natural movement for that arm, and it causes other problems.

I’m left handed and life’s not too bad.

Tie his left hand behind his back and make him only use righty.
Also beat him if he tries to use Cajun French in conversation for good measure too.

Other than the fold down desk at LSU always folding down on the right side back when I attended 20 years ago, I don’t have many complaints.

I'm left-handed and hit .218 in district play back in '96.

That is sort of how I ended up batting and golfing left handed but writing, throwing, bowling and well... everything else... right handed.
When my mom and dad got married, she wanted to get him some golf clubs when he got his first job. She was left handed, so she bought him left handed golf clubs. And he learned how to play golf left handed. And therefore, I learned how to bat left handed and eventually golf left handed.
