Absolutely.

Malcolm likely would've been a great asset to the world as he separated from the Nation of Islam and disavowed racism and believed in Black Self Determinism more than anything.

He would've given the black community real hope and real lessons. He'd have been so influential the welfare nation of blacks would never have become institutionalized by generations like it is now.

He'd have made sure Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Farrakhan etc never got a foothold in American politics. He very well might have been elected President in 1980. Probably not as too many segregationists would still have been alive.

He might have changed our country by instilling pride in blacks, the crack epidemic may not have ever happened in our cities as being involved in drugs and not taking care of yourself and family by honest means would have been a goal in most black communities. Malcolm could have won over the white community with his preaching of unity, protecting your community, brotherhood and togetherness. He likely would have been against illegal immigration and encouraged Mexicans to change their lives in their own countries, the hold of the cartels may not have been as strong as I truly believe he would have influenced a clean living, non drug using culture and reduce the demand for drugs in this country.

Maybe some other entity than black muslims would have killed him anyhow. The guy had an ability to influence, I honestly think if we'd have had his teachings the past 50 years a lot of things would be different, the man's beliefs changed and his killing helped solidify the black on black crime culture w/in the black community.

If Malcom X were still alive it would mean black militants were in charge. And in 50 years my kids would be bitching about how removing the "black militant" statues would stop all this white on white crime.
