On a 60 Mins segment about the Playboy Mansion after Hugh died. His son was giving a tour and talked about how Hugh had a room that he (hugh) had access to until he died.
In the room there were pictures on top of pictures of parties at the Playboy Mansion since the 60s.
They mentioned there were quite a few celebrities, politicians, etc in pictures they would not want to get out. Hugh kept them just in case. And they said something like "and there is even one of an American sweetheart. She sings country music. And we will just say.. Yes they are real".

Saw her about 38 years ago riding in a lemo in a parade. Looked in the window and was awed by how beautiful she was then. Yeah, why not.

I have a theory that Dolly is a lesbian. She is married, but her husband refuses to go anywhere or do anything with her. The one person who is with her at every event, gathering, public appearance, etc. is her lifelong best friend who has always been a self-proclaimed tomboy.
Dolly comes from the era and business when being out would not fly, and she probably still feels it wouldn't fly today.
