....emotional distress? False imprisonment? Slander? Tort? Bad Faith? Something of that sort I can't think of right now? Could he sue Ben Crump along with them?

Anybody can sue anyone for anything. The question you should ask is would they win.

I don’t agree with the 27m payout, or the glorification of Floyd, but they literally have video of this moron with a knee on the mans neck for nine minutes. If that part alone happened to a member of your family, you wouldn’t be pissed at all, right?

Officer Chauvin served his country and his city in the face of drug-fueled felons seeking to take back more than they give.

You’d count yourself lucky to have a quarter of his strength, his pride, his character.

I don’t know about yours, but a member of my family would never find themselves in that situation to begin with.

The coroner’s report stated cause of death was an overdose. Not asphyxiation.

Maybe if your friends and family hadn’t surrounded the cop and made him feel his life was in danger while trying to apprehend a cracked out felon, George Floyd would have survived. Well prob not after swallowing a gram of fentanyl/crack/hairon/coke. Imagine a world where all of this could have been avoided. Wait there is one. Where normal people live.

Oh yea, anyone with a brain could see that Floyd was not acting erratically and definitely not doped out of his mind. If only that mean old Mr Chauvin hadn’t put his knee on his neck he’d still be alive today probably graduating college.

I don’t care anything about Derek Chauvin. I care about little cucks like you ignoring facts to have an excuse to glorify a lifetime felon and take to the streets to burn and destroy.

frick your feelings.

IDGAF about Chauvin- he may be the biggest POS on the face of the earth for all I know. I just wanted to drop by and remind everyone that George Floyd would still be alive if he hadn't fought his way out of the back seat of the cop car. Or, you know, if he hadn't made felonious decisions in the first place that put him in direct contact with a supposedly POS cop.

Generally speaking, if you don't break the law and don't hang out with people who break the law, you're pretty immune from police brutality - with some very rare exceptions.

He will be acquitted and you’ll watch with glee, chanting BLM from the safety of your all white neighborhood, as minority neighborhoods and businesses are destroyed.

Mine either, but the point is that that situation didn’t need to last nine minutes. The guy was a tad overzealous.

They also literally have 20 minutes of video prior to that of Floyd saying I can't breathe, I'm gonna die. While he is sitting on his own vehicle, while he is stumbling across the street to the police car, while he is standing outside refusing to get in the car, and while he is in the car laying down on the seat.

The fact is he was OD'n in real time and knew he was going to die. Said so dozens, maybe hundreds of times in that 30 minutes.

The cops then pulled him out of the police car from the other side and laid him on the ground as he requested because they thought he was OD'n/dying.

The autopsy showed no signs of strangulation. While the optics of Chauvin's knee on his neck were terrible, there is no way for anyone watching the video to know what kind of pressure was being applied. The autopsy would indicate a non lethal amount of pressure.

Because it was an election year and OMB the media and politicians saw an opportunity and they rode it to "victory". I'd bet 99% of the general public has never seen the full video and has no idea Floyd was in the process of dying for 20 minutes before a knee was ever placed on him.
