You might want to consider staying in a bed and breakfast in St. Francisville or even one of the plantations like Nottoway.

A lot of guys think that if you can make it twenty years without hitting her, then you get to all of a sudden. I can't emphasize enough, DO NOT start beating your wife just because it's your twentieth anniversary. It will ruin her mood, your anniversary and possibly your whole weekend. Just don't do it.

to the OP, seriously dont do this. Yes, go to the game. Wish a happy anniversary. And then do something awesome with your wife.

Don't go to a shitty casino after an LSU game, and chances are LSU is going to lose to AU. So not only will it be shitty date for your wife, you are going to be in a shitty mood.

Our 20th is in 2 years and we are going to bali.

Are you talking about staying there the night of the game or the night before? Sound awful to me, but if your wife is interested, do what she wants.

I suggest going the night before the game and staying at Houmas House, if you're going to spend that kind of money on a room. Eat at Latil's Landing.

Or, as someone suggested, go to St. F. I recommend a cottage at Butler-Greenwood.

Or, stay in a cottage at Oak Alley or stay at Nottoway.

Personally, I'd take care of the anniversary the weekend before or the weekend after the game and just do the normal go to the game things.

Probably exactly what I'll do. Actual anniversary is during the week, so I'll probably just leave her at home and take my son to the game. It'll be too hot for her anyway.

That opens up some things for you that she and you both may enjoy more, but I'd still plan ahead. Time's a wastin' and anything near BR on a weekend may be taken already.

You're really taking her to another football game for 20 year anniversary? I hope this is troll thread.

How about Destin, Gulf Shores, Clearwater, Naples, Miami, West Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale, Coco Beach, St Augustine, Jacksonville, Tybee Island, Cumberland Island, Charleston.

Jesus Christ man. Get off your arse, sounds like a great girl if that's the best ideas you've got after 20 years.

Sell the tix

Go to Austin/charleston/Nashville/destin/savannah

Do dorky shite together. Museums/historical stuff

Find a great restaurant. Splurge on great food and drinks watching the game at the bar.

Enjoy each other's company

Go to hotel and screw

The term "LucasP" mentioned in the ball pit makes sure that the evening's entertainment is finito.

As to the OP's 20 Year Anniversary, I lied to mine and told her we were going to Orlando and instead did a week at a resort in the Caribbean.

She knows I hate all things Disney but thought I was going to suffer through it for her.

Surprise is the key element here, keeps them unsure of your next move.
