You’re still doing it.
“We don’t have the data, therefore you can’t prove it isn’t happening” isn’t evidence that it is happening. That’s just shifting the burden of proof.
Then you immediately go from “multiple unconfirmed reports” to “well, these are low-standard LEOs, so rights violations really aren’t a big jump.”
Yes. That’s quite literally the jump I’ve been pointing out.
I’m perfectly fine with more transparency and accountability. Release the data. But until then, “we don’t know” means we don’t know. It doesn’t mean you get to fill in the blanks with whatever confirms your suspicions.
And if we’re going to spread blame around for the cost and ugliness of this entire situation, perhaps save a little for the previous administration and the border policies that allowed the problem to grow to this scale in the first place. Mass deportation was never going to be pretty after allowing millions of illegal immigrants into the country.
There's quite a few on this board who seem faaar more outraged by the cleanup than what created the mess.

All good. Now we can return to mocking each other anonymously for each others respective beliefs

You beliefs are dumber than mine

So good to know if the government never releases data then it just doesn’t exist. Then why should they ever release data on anything they could be criticized for, if we’re just going to pretend if it’s not on government paper that it isn’t happening.
That’s one hell of a logic. Especially for someone who allegedly wants accountability.

What happens if a winded ICE agent bends over and touches his knees?

You’re arguing with something I didn’t say.
I literally said “release the data” and “we don’t know.” Somehow you’ve turned that into “if the government doesn’t release it, it doesn’t exist.”
No. It might exist. It might even be worse than you think. We don’t know.
You’re making the affirmative claim about widespread wrongful detentions and constitutional violations. “The data is unavailable” doesn’t magically become evidence supporting your claim.
And yes, I want the data released so we can stop guessing.
In the meantime: deport, deport, deport.
one more time for the downvotes in the back of the classroom: deport, deport, deport.

Hopefully these gloves are not even less effective.
They are.
They’re the new fad in LE the last few years but they don’t work when the person wears long sleeves or even if they’re excessively hairy.
They can certainly help but like everything else they have potential to become a crutch to be kicked out from under you then you end up worse off.

I see the crutch point, especially with the types of officers it's intended to help- female, fat, old. Agreed.
