They often leave a cool swath in their wake. All the wind mixing the water from below ends up with a cooling of the surface.

the gulf has been impenetrable this season. its been remarkable. much needed for us LA peeps after the last couple years.

there's a wide spread from Louisiana to the tip of Florida on the final path and everyone in this wide area should be have their plans in place, but the actual track is highly dependent on where the LLC actually forms

the farther south the LLC forms the farther west it will trend

I love watching them on satellite, but not in person.

The Windy App definitely shows the rotation.

IDK, this is just about the question of "do we have a closed low"?

This is more an academic concern at the moment.
