Cruise? I’d be shitting bricks. I’m already getting stomach cramps anticipating me being in Gulf Shores next weekend on Vacation. And this has already been rescheduled in the past month bc of Covid.

My wedding is supposed to be Oct 1st in Louisiana so I’m pulling my hair out over this shite.

There is still a lot of spread at D5 on the 12z GEFS with the trend since 00z being faster with an overall SW shift.

All I can say is try to make the best of it if shite hits the fan. I do feel for you though. In preparation start buying the wedding party umbrellas and try to get the bride a white one if possible, or whatever colors. And flip flops. Or cheap sneakers. Where is the wedding?

Lafayette. Ceremony is inside, reception a combo of inside / outside with a tent and walls on standby.

In 2017 Hurricane Maria devastated our honeymoon spot, Hurricane Nathan occurred on our wedding day, and we were driven out of our new honeymoon spot by wildfires the day after we arrived.

We were going to make this year our real honeymoon. I booked away from the Caribbean, but our flight next weekend is out of Gulfport. So we may get screwed, again.

My nephew’s travel ball team is supposed to play in the World Series on an aircraft carrier in the middle of the gulf next weekend. Will it be cleared up by Saturday at 11:30?

Atleast it’s not Baton Rouge am I right? No really. Hopefully it’ll be just wind and rain for your wedding. And like I said, try to make the best of it and just be prepared. I just thought of handing out Ziplocks for phones to keep them dry so those, umbrellas, ponchos, etc might be good to have on hand

In all likelihood it will be blue skies. This thing is still a LOONGGG ways out and even the current models presenting the worst case solution would not affect Lafayette.

Unless you believe the Canadian model which has a hard-on for Louisiana and pushing everything into the gulf even when it doesn't make sense.
