She’ll be fine. You can’t kill bad grass.

Absolutely amazing the posters we have on this site that feed us information.
Just a matter of time before we have someone posting from space.

Looks like 2.6 million without power.
Does anyone know how far north the bad damage is? I know the storm is still in progress but it seems the worst winds are over.
Our contacts we had were in northern Florida and didn’t have bad damage.
Looking for a place to go but we are hoping to not have to drive for 10+ hours (from Tuscaloosa).
Does anyone know about St Augustine to Daytona? If so and you can email me names and cell numbers we will try to connect with them.

Thanks.

Simply can't understand people who don't have the fore-sight to move their vehicles to higher ground....I mean have a plan,at least an elevated area or a multi-story parking facility !!

My wife and I bought a lot on the river years ago and the neighbor was telling us how she hates living there bc her car flooded during a tropical storm. I asked her she didn’t move it to the street entrance, which is on a hill. She just stared at me.

I’m in St. Augustine and the city/county seem fine. Friends in Daytona seem fine as well. Not discouraging y’all from coming this way, just don’t think our area is of need (as of yet) compared to west coast and maybe central Florida. I know my Orlando friend lost power so not sure how widespread that is for the area.

Over on the SEC Rant, we have plenty of posters who appear to be in outer space.

Plenty of rain coming down presently but flooding will be an issue because it’s supposed to rain all day here. Flagler and St.John’s counties especially along coast will flood but hopefully it will be minimal.

Yep. Have some rotten tree limbs that worked their way out. Lots of wind a rain all night. Puckered up after a few but I have felt and heard stronger a few times from what I remember. Looks like an all day event with some pretty big gusts still to come. Have one pine tree that sits just off my property on the side of the golf course that I have been wanting to come down and wind is in the prime position to do it and blow it opposite direction of my house. Some in my next door neighbors yard I am a little scared off. Amazing how you see trees that you never paid much attention to in the past all around your house (fortress).
