the key is thick cut crusty bread and only the finest, high quality organic titty milk. Freshly squeezed from the source.

I'm hearing Pinellas county has cancelled schools for the week. Stores will be empty early.

Not surprising. Pinellas was probably mandating masks longer than most counties in Florida. They tend to overreact.

Recon plus microwave scans show Ian has somehow organized through shallow convection. Shaping up to be one of those nights we watch a storm blow up.

991 on the update. Stronger than the GFS had it pegged at over the past couple runs.

Just threw Levi $100

I get more use out of that website than a lot of other crap I waste money on

I hope WearherNerds is getting plenty of support right now, too.

ETA: Not sure why the downvotes. Their site has been crushed the past week, too. It is struggling just as much. That's my go-to for ensembles.

You're incorrect. Pinellas County resident here. Hillsborough County on the other hand, yes. And it's Hillsborough County that is closed Monday - Thursday, Pinellas closes on Tuesday & Wednesday. Schools are used as shelters so prep work beginning.

In your professional opinion, Cat 3 or 4 hits FL left coast. How much do you think it’ll disrupt FL ins market/citizens?

Because of the Florida’s legislature lack of balls to curtail the personal injury lawyers - they’ve basically chased off a handful of insurance companies and have put a bigger strain on Citizens- luckily the current storm’s path is the Big Bend area, though it will be rough for the citizens that live there,it’s pretty rural so it’ll be less claims

TWC’s Jim Cantore is on the beach in Clearwater, FL. He and Dr. Hurricane are scaring the hell outta people tonight.

Times like this you don’t want Cantore in your hometown.

A friend of mine met him at an art festival a couple weeks ago.

I told her she's fortunate because you usually don't get to meet him unless your neighbor's minivan is in your living room.

18z Euro shifts west avoiding landfall around Tampa and is slowly moving north towards Cedar Key.

Big Bend probably best case—lots of marsh that limits shoreline development between St. Marks & Cedar Key. But the inevitable eastward shift will put Tampa/St. Pete in the crosshairs. That and a southwest facing bay means you can probably catch redfish in Ybor City sometime this week!
