I’ve gotten to where I almost always fly when I have to go to Houston because it’s a shitshow from Baton Rouge thru Orange Texas.

That interstate stretch is not designed to handle the truck traffic it gets in this day and age
You bunch traffic up on that basin and it’s bad news and a death trap
Speed has nothing to do with it
You need three lanes over basin with a designated truck lane
And the big trucks are the big problem when they refuse to stay in their lane

It would help if they 6 lane that stretch. It used to be bottleneck like that from Vinton to Lafayette but they 6 lane’d a few years ago. Hopefully soon they do the same between Iowa and Lafayette.

As always, I’m amazed at your stupidity. Are you this stupid or is it that you are a troll.

Maybe you should slow down and enjoy the ride and the beautiful scenery.

Congrats on all your intelligence, truck driver.

The assholes from Texas doing 90 in a 70 are the problem. Nobody doing 55 in the left lane.

Whatever you say brother. I have a college degree, scored a 26 on my act and have a cdl license. I made 110k last yr. I have excellent health insurance with a 1200 dollar deductible. My college degree is shite. Going to cdl school last 5 weeks. College degree took 4.5 years. Guess which one makes me more money.

Everytime I pass on the spillway, it's fine to me. I drive the limit(used to be 55 for trucks but it seems now its 60 for all drivers)in the right lane. I'm on the road all the time and I can tell you without a doubt, the one's going over 60 are the problem. More like trying to go 70 plus on the spillway. I get it on a flat hwy but not the spillway. Too dangerous.

i never said 90 in a 70 nor anything about 55 in the left lane. Im on the road all the time and I can tell you that speeders while are a problem, that people who drive to slow and cant maintain the flow of traffic as it should be on the interstates are the ones who cause accidents more than people who maintian the limit or drive slightly over it. I see more accidents in one day(i saw 3 today) in louisiana than I see in a month in Texas.

Why do people with Texas plates drive in the left lane at 71 mph on I10/12 and never get over?

i would but the darn traffic exiting there is nuts. I never get fuel there tbh because rush hour is crazy there. I hit Billy's or Kartchners on 190 when I have to pass that way.

While a 3rd lane would be great the losers who drive too slow would still fail to stay in the far right lane. And GTFO with trying to blame Texans. You sound ridiculous

this is a whole nother story. People driving to slow in middle lane is fricking annoying. Get in the right lane with that shite. In fact, driving in Texas is head and shoulders better than driving through South Louisiana. I20 not so bad.

Left lane is for passing. Another law in Louisiana that is unenforceable
