My millennial friends are nothing like they are made out to be. Pretty serious, career minded & focused individuals.

Same, but don't let that ruin the idea that every millennial is a barista.

Reminder: the oldest millennials turn 39 this year. Millennials aren't a bunch of dumb college kids.

By this list my wife is a Millennial

quote:

Gen Z, iGen, or Centennials: Born 1996 – TBD
Millennials or Gen Y: Born 1977 – 1995
Generation X: Born 1965 – 1976
Baby Boomers: Born 1946 – 1964
Traditionalists or Silent Generation: Born 1945 and before

But here she is still cool

6 years ago, the average age of the Outdoor Board was about 32. So 38 y/o now. Qualifies as millennial.

Assuming poster demographics have stayed the same over those years (lose some/gain some...has definitely happened on the OB), we’re still sitting low-mid30s

Baby boomers remember this. We hold the power now.

I'm a millennial who does not care for the full brazilian. The 90's knew what they were doing down there.

Those are both horrible. Pew is the best to look at 1981-1996. The idea is that we grew up in the turn of the millennium.

Lumping in someone whose earliest memories occurred around 2010 as a Millennial is absurd.

Even 1996 is a bit late for the cutoff, but I appreciate that social scientists are lazy, so it's what we will probably get stuck with.

Thank you for not supporting vapid restaurants like Applebee’s, Chili’s, etc.

I was born a millennial but I identify as a Gen Xer

People born between 1982 and 1989 have vastly more in common with one another than they do with anyone on either side of that range, in my opinion.

About six months ago, I was dragged to a Chili's for the first time in the better part of a decade. It was the most overpriced meal I've had in years. Even ignoring the price, I would have enjoyed something from Sonic more.
