I concur. I will give my dog a nice hunk of pork off a roast and it completely bypasses any teeth. Maybe one head/neck jerk and it is gone. Then looks at me eagerly awaiting another chunk to swallow whole. Quit giving away the fresh cuts a long time ago. Nowadays, He only gets 3+ day old meat from the fridge that nobody has eaten.

We give our little pup some human food every once in a while. But it's just a very small piece that I break up so she doesn't swallow it whole. I think she enjoys the little pieces just as much.

That's why I stopped feeding her meat scraps - she just don't know how to enjoy them.

I give my dogs loaves of bread. They might swallow the first few pieces without chewing, but they will chew.
