I mean it's just colors, right? green means rain, yellow storms, red heavy storms??? Then find your house or location and check the color at that location?

Gotta be pretty dense to miss that one.

Just remember that a majority of the populace believe that masks prevented the spread of a virus.

Not my kid. He just had a test in school and labeled all of the states and over 1/2 the countries in the world (100+) before he ran out of time.

He also runs the other scouts in his troop thru the orienteering course at the local park.

He's a born navigator.

Ehh, I'm a plumber so I use both the % chance and the radar.

% chance in the morning gives me an idea of whether to expect bad weather that day, and about what time to expect it. This helps me decide what additional work wear/precautions I might need to take that day and helps to determine whether certain jobs are feasible that day.

The radar is obviousoy better and for being specific. Just because its likely going to rain at 1pm on the south side of Lexington doesnt mean it will be in say Georgetown or Paris, and if I have work I need to do there then, no need to put it off because of weather I'd they aren't getting that weather.

Common sense.

Man, I dont know about that, but on this same note it aggravates me when people blindly look at a forecast that says 70% and uses that as the end all instead of simply looking at a radar and seeing if its about to rain.

I feel like a damn weather guru at the ball field because I know how to use my radar apps. It’s amazing how people rely on the widget on their home screen.

My Radar + Radar Scope is a great combo.

Tbh I have no idea how to read it either. So I don't try. I just look on my phone app. I just want to know the highs/lows, and rather or not it will rain. That's it.

Son, I am disappoint.

It’s extremely easy, and it’s very useful.

How dumb do you have to be to not be able to understand what you’re looking at when you see the weather radar on TV?

From my experience, blindly equating intelligence with a lack of knowledge is typically a more pervasive issue.

Oh for frick sake. lol

I’m sorry but if you’re 67 years old and you’ve never been able to teach yourself how to read a weather radar, then you’re not intelligent, and it’s a you problem at that point.

Your argument would hold a little more water if this was actually difficult knowledge to obtain, but it’s not. Small children can teach themselves how to understand the weather radar.

Another indicator is not understanding when someone is making an argument versus sharing their perspective.

Have a good day.

BS. It was presented as a counterpoint (what some would call an argument), and so I offered a rebuttal. Don’t play dumb now.

Regardless of the verbiage used, your “perspective” doesn’t hold water.
