I wonder if this was the third shooter for the San Bernadino attack

All the witnesses said there were three shooters and not two and he apparently is the one who bought the guns.

Definitely doesn't look like the type to buy an AR for no reason

Yes, from the grassy knoll...

He was just a frick up misfit and they befriended him and used him. If he was a shooter then they need to kill him at the mental hospital.

Why hasn't he been arrested for buying the guns?

I agree with all of this.

Not sure it was just blasted all over the evening news segment though. It's fishy that he checked in a mental hospital a few hours after the attack though. Especially after most of the victims reported three shooters and not two. It would explain why he wasn't in the vehicle with the two aloha snackbars.

Not a hunter or into guns, but what the hell are "assault-style" weapons?

Its a term the media has come up with to describe military type long guns. Ar-15, Ak47 and so on and so fourth.

The funny thing about all this that I don't hear questioned at all?
Why did he buy the weapons for them, if they were so squeaky clean they passed every background check?
You do that to hide the purchase, which the guy buying it for them would have been well aware of.
AKA...accomplice

I am all for the right to have guns, but I think those type of weapons really should require further checking.. if not more restrictions.
I don't want to get into a political debate, so I am just giving an opinion.
I am sure owners of those guns will be all defensive of it.
I guess some of it could be the thrill of it, say in target practice.. but still I just don't know that we need those type of weapons easily attainable by the general public (if it even is.. i admit i have no idea!)
A good hand gun with the right amount of skill can be pretty good defense (i've seen stories of guys with a handgun kill intruders with assault rifles)
I just don't know. Don't want to offend anyone though, so carry on..

What kinds of restrictions are you thinking will prevent criminals from getting their hands on guns?

You mean semi-automatic rifles?

This is a made up term. These weren't "assault rifles".
