I hope he enjoys his electric chair,the selling of any firearm in CA must go through a federal firearms license selling face to face is obviously illegal. Whether he was a shooter or not he is directly responsible.

The reason the general public should have access to these weapons is simple, self defense. The military and police have these weapons, so should the public.

What is the original intent of the 2nd amendment? Bare arms for hunting? No. Bare arms for protection from an oppressive government so that the public can rise up if need be.

I know you said you didn't want to get into a political duscussion, but that's the easiest explanation as to why we should have the option to have access to these guns.
