The only thing worse than a bad officer is these guys that have to challenge cops on everything. I get that police are capable of being wrong, but most of the time these idiots are fighting and arguing with them over minute garbage. If it’s that big a deal file a complaint with the department afterwards.

That guy's FOS. He sure as hell does need a permit if there's a city ordinance requiring one. He can't do all sorts of things that are regulated just by claiming "Free Speech"

Hell, you can't even organize protests in most cities without a permit.

Technically he can. You cannot make laws that take away constitutional rights. I know they do it all the time and people comply and courts even rule against people who challenge it. But constitutionally you cannot regulate rights away from ppl.

I’m just glad this a-hole running his pie hole incessantly isn’t my neighbor, can you imagine a dochebag like that living next door? I’m sure he’s just doing it for clicks, and I gave him one, but he’s still an a-hole.

I'm no cop bootlicker by any means. But I'm not gonna sit back and let such clueless statements go uncorrected. It's so basic it's ConLaw 101 such regulations on free speech are constitutional.

Every occur to any of you that disagree that such trivial infringements on free speech like yard sale sign regulations haven't long ago been challenged and affirmed as constitutional by SCOTUS?

He had a permit for the yard sale. They go over that in the video. The cops told him he needed a second permit to hold the yard sale sign.

No he did not have a permit. He said he doesn’t need a permit to hold it. He only needs a permit if it’s a sign that he sticks in the ground.

Based on location, I bet if his neighbor had a Trump sign on their lawn he would want it taken down.
