Sid,

I feel your pain. It is a constant source of aggrevation for us. Not sure how to break it when every parent we know has the same problem.

Yes you do. They were totally awesome.

After two solid decades of cultural and artistic vulgarization by marxist pieces of shite, Reagan took over and altered the landscape, making America a happier place for all.

Then came the 90's, and the Clintons and other marxists went back to their old ways of vulgarizing the culture and playing demographics against each other while pretty much literally telling people what they are and are not allowed to think and say. It's what their kind does.

Fortunately for them, the tech boom brought economic prosperity, which made it look like they were doing a great job, and by the time the bubble burst, they had an idiot neocon "republican" on which to place the blame.

And, because of said idiot neocon, it's been all leftism since then. The leftist media responded to the backlash that would naturally occur among normal, kind-hearted human beings - by serving up Donald Trump as the candidate to combat the years of divisive, marxist bullshite. The masses swallowed it hook line and sinker, as usual. Because of this, leftism will rule us forever. There will be no prosperity and the world will consist of a tiny ruling class, lording over masses and masses of idiot serfs. And from the looks of it, Islam is being set up to be the iron hand that will keep all of us serfs in line.

In short, the 80's were the apex of modern human existence, filled with creativity, cherished memories fair opportunities for all (including minorities, you whiny bitches). There is nothing but misery ahead now, for most of us.

80's was fun as hell but it was tough to get laid compared to now. Girls were really worried about keeping a good reputation. Adding in the new aids scare only made it worse

Jeez. Time to settle down?

some dumbass movie featured people who were obsessed with OTHER times.

oh, those times were the great times.

the protagonist is such a person. he is magically transported back in time. its every thing he hoped for. he falls for a woman. she's obsessed with a previous decade.

The 80s weren't that great. The 60s rocked.

My parents actually loved that 70's show. They all had friends that each character reminded them of growing.

Rap was about having fun and having a good time instead of ho's, thugs, and keeping it real on the streets. Maybe it was shallow, but I don't see the direction hip hop has evolved as a positive.

Some rock was cheesy. Some of it was brilliant art.

That's a tune I don't mind having in my head. For me, it may be the most nostalgic tune EVER! It really brings back wonderful childhood memories.

Man, my little brother and I would get so excited when the HBO feature presentation came on because we knew it meant an awesome movie was sure to follow.
