Give the driver a little break. He has nothing so he ran. Goes a block and realized driving away isn't an option.

He apologized then ran to try to protect himself.

I kinda feel for the guy. He just should not have been driving.

How did you get it? It wasn't from the "friend" he'd just met on the job site.

At any rate, my guess is that he took off because he had drugs in his system.

I have my ways. The 'friend' didn't want to get involved. He first told me his name was Jeff and then he said "oh did I say "Jeff" I meant to say "Brian".

It happened in New Orleans when I was leaving downtown from work.

You can't tell the cops where the guy is with these "ways" ?

ETA: Good luck proving he was actually driving..Prepare for "it was stolen"

The police officer told me that if they did get him that we probably would be called in for a lineup. Which is okay because I have his fiancé's information as well and have up to date pics of the white trash POS from her unlocked FB.

Sounds like you're already ahead of the game. Enjoy the weekend and worry about it next week.

Yeah. They came out and I gave my insurance the report number and all that jazz.

Personally, I do not deal with the law or insurance in this type of situation. I get personal revenge. Start off with contaminating his gas tank to ruin his precious motor in his pos truck.
