Let's go!! Qualifying now for the next games in Los Angeles 2028

Breaking has already been dropped from the 28 games

It was dropped in ‘23, but it is much more amusing to blame raygun
Apparently she made the association and was the head of it. Her husband was the judge and coach. And they didn’t really publicize the qualifying event to many people.

So apparently Australia did not have a break dancing governing body. So she formed it and had her husband as the qualifier judge. She and her friends won the events and that's how she got the ticket to Paris.

I think the discussion really needs to occur to expecting parents.
RAYGUN…….sigh. Really?
Did they let an 8 year old boy name her?
Hey, mom i think it would be really sweet if her name was laser or machine gun!

Her name is Rachael Gunn.
In the breaking competition they went by their Breaking names, and hers was Raygun (see: her name)

Nice. This is impressive. Need to keep an eye on obscure sports being added to the Olympics and repeat this effort.

Somehow this makes the people defending her and calling her critics "sexist" that much funnier.

She has a PHD in this. I wish I was joking
Her dissertation was about race and gender in relation to the breakdancing culture.

I think you are more likely to find that with a southern travel baller

This will be an interesting story for the 30 for 30 someday about Olympic break dancing

While impressive she was able to pull that off, it pales in comparison to Jamaica getting a bobsled team in the Winter Olympics. They actually had to work at that.
