There’s no point in arguing with these clowns that will give up their freedoms for a donut, beer coupons and little attention on Facebook.
If the people on this board actually cared they would be dieting and exercising and getting vitamin D but most won’t and will turn to the government to save them from a problem they’ve had over a year to address in their own home. The solution to covid is right in front of our faces and the world is too dumb to follow through because a magic shot or pill is better than hard work.

I eat very well and workout every single day. I also have been taking VD and zinc daily for several years.
I also get vaccinated.
I like being healthy. I like feeling 100%. I'll do what it takes to keep feeling that way. Getting vaccines to help prevent me and my family from getting sick is part of that process.

I’m not anti vax I’m just pointing out that no one knows if this dose is going to be a long term fix for this problem and Americans are missing the big picture and need to do everything else like you’re doing. You’re living right based on that response

I think the key is being able to objectively assign a level of veracity to the "authority". The link you posted is to Clif High the guy that built the Web Bot and thinks it can use web scrapping to predict natural disasters among other things. His predictions are based on the pseudoscience use of predictive analytics and he has no background in ID or cellular biology.

frick that. I'll take my chances with 99.7% chance of fighting the virus on my own. Probably much higher now given the fact that I've already had it an my symptoms were sniffles, loss of tastes and IBS.

No. The biggest issue would be if the spike protein changes during a mutation. There may be more or less efficacy for new mutations. That is the public policy reason for enough people to get the vaccine to reach herd immunity. The less hosts the virus has the fewer mutations occur and the less likely one emerges that is more deadly. Just like immunity from prior infection the vaccine will have immunity for some limited time, we do not know how long that is at this point.

You have a reasonable point. No issues with it.
But when I think of the aviation industry and its principles being created by two bicycle mechanics when the Smithsonian said it could not be done, I also have no problem learning what outsiders have to say and coming to my own conclusions with more inputs.

Here is my issue, the creator is making his points not based on a biology or infectious disease background but on a completely different set of parameters. At least the Wright brothers had a background in practical engineering.
