Pretty sure Kelce could have accomplished that without grabbing his coach and screaming into the side of his face like an emotive 2nd grader.

the funny thing is we have no idea what it was about. Romo said he thought it was bc the guy who replaced him on the play missed a block causing the fumble. What if he was yelling "coach we are going to kick their arse"

Either way I am shocked by how soft this board is when this thread has more likes than downvotes...maybe if the rest of society went off on the stupid shite that has led to what has happened to our country over the last 20 years our country wouldn't be full of a bunch of woke pussies.

Sometimes you can win it all and lose it all at the same time.

That’s what we need. All the “real men” in the country to start red-face screaming at each other like toddlers whenever they get emotional.

That’ll definitely get rid of wokeness.

I used to think that composer and self-control were the true marks of a man, but it’s 2024 so who the hell knows anymore.

Right! It's war, dammit!

Screw the niceties. Kelce shoulda just trucked the coach to get his point across! KC woulda won by 3 TDs!

holy shite, you saying he shoudl have instantly fired kelce, arguably one of the best at his position currently IN THE WORLD because kelce was pissed at a decision reid made?

what world do you people live in?

At that point a trailing KC team had just lost the ball on a fumble, a decision aka Play made by Reid or his OC

KC was behind 10-3 and Kelce thought, had he been in, the chances were in their favor that the ball would still be in their possession.

Could we compare this to a salesman, whose livelihood is dependent on his sales volume being moved from Atlanta to East St. Louis?

maybe if the real men stood up and said frick you and your 100 genders, LGBTQ, uni sex bathrooms and all the other absurd bullshite liberals have proposed this country wouldn't be the shitshow we have today....paying illegals to be here instead of deporting them is beyond stupid.

Not if you’re an elite player. The best players on the team have a different set of rules than everyone else. I don’t agree with it but that’s how it’s always been. Very few coaches will treat all players the same.

And that’s why they act like babies when shite doesn’t go their way.

That was a conversation between a player and a coach. That is between them and the team rules. They govern that, not the NFL. I guarantee Kelce and the owners will have a conversation. Maybe a fine ....But it will not made known to the public. I imagine the League will say something to the team as well.

I had a play at the goal line one night. Defensive player was turned and made the decision to intentionally draw a block in the back foul by stopping and letting the flow of traffic take him out. No Flag....You better have a good acting career in your gene pool to draw that flag. This player got up and in my face. Every other word a curse word. He was fine until he crossed the one line you cannot cross. He bumped me. Let's just say the flag launch was such that NASA would be proud. The League Board was at that corner of the endzone and stopped the game to ask why a flag was not throw initially. ..."NFL procedures ...." That week a letter went to all teams and coaches ..Players were told to stop the language. It hurt their ticket sales ....."If you have rabbit ears ....go play someplace else."

Watch the action on the field. There is always barking going on. Sometimes you will see the White Hat turn off his mike because of the barking......last thing you want to hear is "FU" in front of 85,000 people and millions of viewers on TV.

Maybe. And maybe Reid took Kelce out because he didn't like his effort blocking and wanted to send a message. Maybe he wanted to piss Kelce off so he got his shite together and started playing better. Seemed to work. Was a bad look certainly, but the ends seemed to justify the means for both as it worked out and Kelce played better from then on.

quote:

He’s a frigging team captain and a 34 year old man.

Yes, he's a team captain who has earned the respect of his coaches and teammates over the years. Those guys accrue a longer leash over the years. And he's a 34-year-old MAN. I think a lot of you who never played past high school--I din't either, but I've heard enough former player talk--don't understand the dynamic between players and coaches at that level. They are much more peers than superiors/subordinates. Both grown arse men, and Kelce makes more money than Reid. He calls him Andy. It's not like a 50-year-old high school coach and a 17-year-old player. Just a totally different dynamic at that level with a player that old and that accomplished.

Definitely a bad look. But they won the Super Bowl, so the end clearly justified the means, and I doubt Andy Reid's feelings are all that hurt. Now, I've heard Andy isn't the soft teddy bear that we've all convinced ourselves of. I think he likes to bust balls with the guy and call them out. I'm sure they'll eventually discuss it privately, move on, and never think about it ever again. Much like the rest of us should do.

What was the deal with Mahoney in those pics? Missed that but saw Kielce issues.

Mahomes realized he screwed up and apologized. It was a bad look, but nobody is perfect.

Kelce would have been traded at half time if that was my team. Can't do that shite to a coach that's not even known for being a hard arse.
