About the same as me, even to the times (mine were April/June).

I do drink during Auburn games if they're earlier than 5 and a good 3:30 game, though I will try and hold out for halftime if possible. But generally if I'm just hanging out at the house I'm good, I'm long past the days where I can leisurely put away beers while sitting around at home.

It's the fun I'm after -- seeing teams lose while drinking, hanging out with good friends while drinking -- not the getting hammered part that I truly enjoy.

good for you

not sure what you noticed....lemme tell you about what you never noticed

alcohol, STRIPS valuable MINERALS from your body. it's similar to refined sugar, stripped of all vitamins and minerals, you slowly lose your immune function and anti-cancer fighting abilities.

I've been aware for the last yr or so....I take minerals from multiple sources, to build up my reserves....my hair has been growing like a weed and I'm not sickly.

I used to drink pretty heavily...a few shots followed by a cpl beers, everyday....really tuff to get up when you are older too.

I've been mixing up my drinking experience...saving the self destructive behavior for friday only.

Zach, most of us have almost been arrested for drinking. Key word: almost.

Yep. Bad shite man. Stuff I am embarrassed of. Stuff that I can't even talk about with the person that was present.

starting at 5pm, adderral, weed, foreign countries, and drinking until 2am is just a bad idea.

While it helps the person who was drinking, it doesn't help the people who have to live with the outcome of the drinkers questionable decisions

I would have to be drunk to root for any team from the state of alabama.

I saw one game at jordan-ohare, the game where the barn burned down. I sat in the AU section, they were all jovial until LSU won.

Good times. It was a night game.

It also doesn't help the person drinking who has to eventually sober up and deal with said people

Which sucks because I really enjoy day drinking and calling it an early night. The problem is that I won't, it'll be 10PM with my GF wanting to leave and I'll be obliterated sneaking around taking shots. I don't even enjoy being that drunk.

I do agree with you though, I have no problems when it just involves going out to a bar with friends or going to watch a night game. It's when we're all going to watch a days worth of games at 3 different places that I lose control.

Your quotes sound exactly like me

Even the part about the fun and hanging out with friends is what you enjoy, not getting that hammered. It (drunkeness) fricking sneaks up on me, though.
